how generative AI can become a practical assistant in your coaching practice.
This hands-on introductory workshop equips coaches with the fundamentals of
using GenAI to design effective session plans, craft better prompts, and
generate coaching ideas more efficiently. Through practical activities,
participants will explore best practices for integrating AI into their daily
planning. Leave with actionable skills, ready-to-use prompts, and a fresh
perspective on how AI can enhance creativity, save time, and support better
coaching decisions.
Cheryl
Khoo is the Assistant Programme Chair for the Diploma in Sport Coaching team in
Republic Polytechnic. She holds a Degree in Sports Science and Management from
Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and
Teaching from National Institute of Education. Cheryl's work at RP includes
improving module content and its’ delivery as well as integrating relevant
industry certifications into the various curriculum. Cheryl is also part of the
team that conducts and teaches the SG-Coach level 1 courses. An NROC Senior
Coach in the sport of Ice Skating, Cheryl brings over 10 years of coaching
experience in figure skating. She has coached athletes from the national and
developmental teams, many of whom have represented Singapore in regional and
international competitions, including the Junior Grand Prix series. Cheryl
believes that effective coaching extends beyond technical skills. She
emphasizes the importance of applying sport science and coaching principles to
enhance athletic performance. With her strong academic foundation and extensive
coaching experience, Cheryl is committed to both sharing her knowledge and
learning from others through communities of practice.

attending this workshop. NROC coaches who attend this workshop without
registering first will not be able to receive their CCE hours
e-certificate, which is a requirement to claim CCE hours for attending
this workshop
