Wang Shao Ing
Department: Safe Sport
Designation: Team Lead
Read MoreShao leads the multidisciplinary team under the Safe Sport Commission. She was a legal practitioner before she turned her attention to teaching Media Law and Ethics and is actively involved in disciplinary matters for her sport. She has been appointed to the Olympics and Rugby World Cups in her role as a World Rugby Judicial Officer. The former captain and head coach of the Singapore national women’s rugby team has served on various committees in the sport’s governing bodies in Singapore, Asia and internationally. Shao is also a licensed Word Rugby Coach Educator and continues to coach at the community level.

Richard Shuttleworth

Read MoreA former National Football Team captain, Tong Hai represented Singapore from 1988 to 1999. He now leads the Coaching Industry Development team, shaping employment policies and standards for NROC coaches. Also a Coach Developer with CoachSG and Football Association of Singapore, he brings over 20 years of coaching and administrative experience. Rooted in the values of Dedication, Determination, Discipline, and Empathy, he believes in building a resilient and people-centred coaching ecosystem that supports both professional growth and personal development.

Azhar Yusof
Department: Head, CoachSG

Level: Master Coach Developer
Read MoreAzhar is Head, CoachSG and leads its five teams in driving the coaching education and development efforts across all sports in Singapore. He has a diverse background; having been a national athlete, an international match official and a coach in multiple sports. A teacher by training, he was Head of PE/CCA Department at Raffles Institution, and Senior Lecturer and Assistant Head (Teaching) at the National Institute of Education (NIE) where he is still engaged as Adjunct Lecturer. He is a Master Trainer with World Rugby and is currently also the Coach of Singapore's Wheelchair Rugby Team.

Syahirah Latiff

Read MoreSyahirah leads the training and education work for Safe Sport in Singapore, shaping its development since 2018. With a Masters in Organisational Psychology, she has developed the training framework, curricula and content for diverse sports stakeholders. She has conducted workshops, from awareness to sport-specific safeguarding and first responder training, built partnerships and guided Sporting Organisations in their policies and case management work. Syahirah served as a Safeguarding Officer at the Paris Olympics and is an Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Safeguarding Instructor.

Ng Kend Tuck

Read MoreKend Tuck leads policy and research at Safe Sport, guiding over 60 sporting organisations to adopt safeguarding policies since joining in 2021. A psychologist by training, he previously spent 6 years with the Singapore Prison Service, providing psychological intervention to sex offenders. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at NUS, he believes policymaking should be grounded in evidence-based research, ensuring that safeguarding efforts are both effective and impactful in sport.

Josephine Low

Sangeetha Nadarajan

She applies her legal expertise to uphold fair processes and ensure accountability across the sporting landscape. Guided by the belief that sport must not be undermined by unaddressed issues, she sees clear, principled action as key to maintaining safe and respectful environments for all participants.

Hannah Wilkins
Department: Safe Sport
Read MoreA former rugby player and Sport Science graduate, Hannah supports Safe Sport by developing educational and outreach materials, coordinating events and engagements, and managing safesport.sg. Her belief that athletes should grow through sport shapes her approach to safeguarding and education. Drawing on her sporting experience and academic training, she works to ensure sport environments are safe, supportive, and conducive to athlete development.

Louise Khng
Department: Development Coaching & Pathways

She combines educational expertise with hands-on coach development, working closely with National Sports Associations to develop coaching pathways. Chua Yong Joo

Bryan Ng
Department: Development Coaching & Pathways

Read MoreBryan was a former national Rugby 7s player and Physical Education teacher, remains active in sport through coaching Football and Floorball. Now a coach developer and educator, he works with National Sport Associations to shape coaching pathways and frameworks. Guided by his background in counselling, Bryan believes in developing people through sport—helping coaches and athletes grow in character and resilience. His philosophy: coaching is not just about performance, but about nurturing individuals to become their best selves.

Annabelle Ng
Department: Performance Coaching

Read MoreBelle is a former Physical Education teacher and ex-national kayaker who represented Singapore at the Asian and SEA Games. A two-time recipient of the SNOC Meritorious Team Award and former Sport Excellence (spex) Scholarship recipient. She previously coached National Developmental Canoe Sprint and currently coaches at ActiveSG Canoe Academy. Shaped by her journey as an athlete and coach, she is passionate about working with people and supporting them to achieve their goals. She strongly believes in the transformative power of sport to inspire continuous learning, growth, and personal development.

Reiner Leong

His background is in Strength & Conditioning and believes in the novel application of athletic skills in solving evolving sporting challenges. Reiner has previously represented Singapore in Rugby and Wrestling and continues to compete in Athletics with the hope of finding new opportunities.

Ong Chuan Leong

Read MoreChuan Leong supports the development of Singapore’s coach education system through initiatives like #ForCoachesbyCoaches, the CoachSG Room, and CoachSG Conferences (2019–2021). He also coaches at ActiveSG Football Academy, leading AFA–Tanjong Pagar United U10s to their first SYL Division 3 title in 2024. Believing coaches learn best from one another, he designs platforms that promote sharing and collaboration. This philosophy also guides his volunteer work, where he teaches English and Chinese to Spanish speakers to foster mutual growth.

Joanne Loo

With a focus on supporting women coaches and promoting para-sport coaching, she is committed to advancing coaching excellence.

Eliza Tan

Eliza also serves on the board of the Singapore Olympic Academy, committed to fostering impactful coaching practices.

Xue En Hong Shane

A certified behavioural consultant, Shane employs behavioural science to encourage better individual and team effectiveness.With an Organisational Development (OD) background, Shane also adopts Leadership & Organisational (L&OD) tools and frameworks to inform the design and facilitation of interventions for more systemic and sustained impact. Shane is an avid sports climber and enjoys the pursuit of outdoor adventures around the world.
