Aidil Sulaiman
Aidil’s coaching journey began in 1999, driven by a deep passion for developing players and the game. He spent 15 years in Malaysia, where he built a strong foundation working within the expatriate community through coaching roles in major international schools in Kuala Lumpur. In 2014, Aidil returned to Singapore and further expanded his coaching experience across various levels of the game through roles such as Head Coach (Tasek Sailors), Head of Youth Development (Geylang International), Assistant Coach (Albirex Niigata Singapore) and U15 Coach (Home United and Lion City Sailors). Along the way, Aidil also gained international exposure through coaching stints and attachments in Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Bolton Wanderers FC (England) and the Juventus Academy (Saudi Arabia). A key influence Aidil development as a coach has been through mentorship under an Argentinian coach, which shaped his coaching philosophy and approach.
Aidil currently serves as a Coach Developer with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), where he is committed to nurturing and guiding the next generation of coaches, while continuing to evolve and contribute to the football ecosystem.
