A New Era Begins for Singapore’s Only National Marathon
With more than 40 years of history, the BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas marks the beginning of a new era for Singapore’s only national marathon, featuring Southeast Asia’s only World Athletics Gold Label Road Race.
For the first time ever, this year’s marathon weekend will take place over three days, from 4 to 6 December 2026. Here’s a quick look at what to expect:
Friday, 4 December 2026
AM: Kids Dash 600m (Non-Competitive), 1.6km (Competitive, Non-Competitive)
PM: 5km, Standard Chartered 10km
Saturday, 5 December 2026
AM: adidas Half Marathon
Sunday, 6 December 2026
AM: BYD Marathon
This year also sees the introduction of the Crew Challenge, where teams of four can sign up as a named crew to race the BYD Marathon individually. The fastest combined finishing times decide the rankings.
