Find out more about disability sports through this workshop!
Registration Deadline: 18 August 2026
(Tuesday)
Great coaching isn’t about fitting every
athlete into the same box; it’s about adapting your environment so every
athlete can thrive. Tailored specifically for coaches with little to no prior
experience in disability sport, this introductory 2-hour session provides a
safe, welcoming space to build your awareness and confidence. You’ll gain a
foundational understanding of different disability categories, learn practical,
on-the-ground frameworks to modify your activities. This workshop equips you
with immediate, beginner-friendly strategies to make your sports sessions
accessible, safe, and engaging for every participant.
Mason Tan holds a Master’s Degree in

with a strong commitment to promoting physical activity for health. He formerly
led the Active Health Cluster (West), under the programme design and
development team where he played a key role in the development and
implementation of programmes tailored to diverse populations. These included
public education workshops addressing sleep for children, working adults and
seniors.
