In the world of sport, sleep is a critical yet often overlooked pillar of athletic success. This 2-hour interactive workshop is designed to equip sports coaches with essential knowledge and practical tools to promote better sleep among their athletes. Participants will explore the science of sleep, its impact on physical and cognitive performance, and how to identify and manage common sleep challenges in sport.
Mason Tan holds a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Studies and is a certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) with a strong commitment to promoting physical activity for health. He formerly led the Active Health Cluster (West), under the programme design and development team where he played a key role in the development and implementation of programmes tailored to diverse populations. These included public education workshops addressing sleep for children, working adults and seniors.
