This workshop equips sport coaches with practical strategies to apply Gentile’s Taxonomy of Motor Skills when teaching learners of varied skill levels. Participants will explore how task complexity, environmental conditions, and learner needs influence skill acquisition. Through hands‑on activities and real coaching scenarios, coaches will learn to design effective practice progressions, and enhance athlete development across beginner to advanced levels.
Harold has over 10 years of experience in teaching and faciliation at MOE schools and Republic Polytechic respectively. As a physical education teacher, head of department and lecturer, Harold has relevant knowledge in curriculum and lesson deisgn, sport programme development, and mentorship. At RP, Haold and his students have been organizing inclusive sport events for seniors and youth with autism spectrum disorder.
