NROC Membership Renewal

NROC Renewal

Requirements for Renewal of Full NROC Membership

Coaches with expired NROC membership will need to prepare the following:

  • Valid Standard First Aid (including AED) Certificate
  • $60.00 renewal fee (payable online)
  • Supporting documents for completion of Continuing Coach Education (CCE) requirement. Up to 10 CCE hours may be awarded for a recognised CCE activity. Do note that coaches can now fulfill their CCE requirement through Self-Guided CCE hours as well (see ‘Update on CCE Hours Requirement’ section in the above link)
  • Submit an application online via SportSync. Please refer to How to renew guide here.

**Coaching Education: Attending workshops and/or courses conducted by CoachSG or any sporting related organisation that is accredited by CoachSG .

**Coaching Practice: Coaching services rendered to private clients and/or clubs.

**Please note that Standard First Aid (SFA), CPR and AED Courses (including refresher courses) will NOT be awarded CCE hours as these are considered standard requirements for coaches.

Provisional Membership Upgrade

With effect from 1st July 2024, NEW applications for NROC Provisional Membership will be ceased. Existing Provisional Coaches' memberships will be valid until their respective date of expiry. All Provisional Coaches are reminded and strongly advised to acquire the various certifications for upgrade to full NROC membership (Level 1 Coach) upon their membership expiry. Individuals with Coaching Diploma/Degrees, Sport Science Diploma/Degrees, or equivalent may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for direct accreditation. Those who have vast experiences in coaching may also apply for Recognition of Prior Experience (RPE). These information and more may be found on our website Application for NROC Membership.

Foreign Coaches

Foreign Coaches

A foreign national who is applying to renew his/her NROC is required to submit a valid Work Pass or Letter of Consent for coaching from Ministry of Manpower stating that the person is authorised to offer coaching services.
