Find Coach Developers
According to the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE), a Coach Developer plays a vital role in shaping the coaching landscape. They are individuals with deep expertise—either as experienced coaches or specialists in areas such as strength and conditioning, pedagogy, skill acquisition and others —who are dedicated to supporting and advancing coaching practices.
A Coach Developer:
- Possesses significant experience as a coach or as an expert working with coaches in relevant contexts.
- Supports coaches in developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to enhance their effectiveness.
- Has received specialised training in facilitating coach learning.
- Works formally (e.g., delivering coach education programs) and/or informally (e.g., mentoring coaches one-on-one in a club setting).
- Embodies a lifelong learning mindset and fosters this attitude among coaches.
The Coach Developers listed below have undergone training and assessment, demonstrating their competency in coach development. They have successfully completed one or more of the following ICCE-accredited courses:
- Facilitation Skills for Coach Developers (Coach Educator)
- Supporting Coaches in Practice (Coach Developer)
- Trainers of Coach Developers (Master Coach Developer)
These trained professionals are committed to elevating coaching standards and empowering coaches to excel.
