This workshop is about Microdosing for Strength and Conditioning, by Dr. Danny Lum and Dr. Abdul Rashid Aziz.
Microdosing divides total training volume into frequent, short-duration sessions within a microcycle, and research shows this approach effectively improves both cardiorespiratory endurance and muscular strength. The workshop aims to equip coaches with strategies to optimize athlete training adaptations when time is limited.
Dr. Lum, a senior strength and conditioning scientist internationally recognized for his isometric training research, brings over a decade of experience training national athletes in badminton, cycling, kayaking, and track and field.
Dr. Aziz is a senior sport physiologist with more than 20 years of experience supporting national athletes and is internationally known for his research on how Ramadan fasting affects athletic performance. He currently provides physiological support to the badminton team.
