Meet the Team

Tong Hai leads the Coaching Industry Development (CID) team where he oversees employment policies and identify industry needs of NROC Coaches. His role includes quality assurance and adherence to competency standards. He holds an Asian Football Confederation (AFC) "A" coaching certificate and has 20 years of coaching and administration experience. He is also a Coach Developer with CoachSG and Football Association of Singapore. He was a former National Football Team Captain and represented Singapore from 1988 - 1999.

Grace oversees matters pertaining to the National Registry of Coaches (NROC). She manages both the NROC and SportSG-ED online portals, and looks into cases that infringe on the Coach's Code of Ethics. 

Grace was a former national athlete with the Singapore Women's Volleyball team between 2022 and 2019.

Shermaine creates and manages the content for CoachSG social media platforms and website, and handles NROC matters, including implementing policies, disciplinary processes and looks into cases breaching the Coach’s Code of Ethics. She also leads in the management of NROC Memberships on the online portal for sport management and information sharing – SportSync. She is also currently a Team Singapore Modern Pentathlete, bringing home the nation's first Modern Pentathlon medal in a World Championship. 

Zafran manages the NROC database and reviews new, renewal, and upgrade applications. He also handles the Group email's inbox regarding Coaching Industry Development. He also spearheads events for coaches like Coaches Day, CoachSG Anniversary, and Coaches' Appreciation Night. Outside of work, he is an avid rugby player.
