Shao Ing

Team Lead

Shao-ing oversees the policies, programmes and case management work of the Safe Sport Programme. The former captain and head coach of the Singapore National Women's Rugby Team is also a World Rugby Coach Educator, Judicial Officer and has served on the sport's regional and international committees. Shao was formerly a lawyer and lecturer in media law and ethics before joining SportSG.

Elaine

Staff

Elaine manages reports on safe sport misconduct and work closely with the Safe Sport Support Network to provide psycholoogical support to affected individual. A trained nurse, she has been doing enforcement and investigation work since 2014.

Hannah

Staff
Using her background in Sport Science, Hannah supports the training and education arm by designing educational materials and planning Safe Sport workshops. She also engages the Safe Sport network through its website and newsletter.

Kend Tuck

Staff

Kend Tuck's work focuses on the development of Safe Sport policies and guided sporting organisations in the implementation of safeguarding policies and best practices. He is a psychologist by training and worked in the criminal justice system previously.

Sangeetha

Staff
As part of the Safe Sport team, Sangeetha assists with disciplinary matters. Drawing from her legal experience, coupled with a keen interest in sports, she believes that the sporting environment should not be undermined by the fragility of its issues.

Syahirah

Staff
Syahirah drives the training curriculum for Safe Sport, coach recognition programmes and events, profiling of coaches and publicity work for CoachSG. She has been part of the Safe Sport work since its infancy in 2018 and has facilitated various workshops for stakeholders, built partnerships and guided Sporting Organisations in implementing their Safe Sport policies, including management of cases. Her background is in psychology and communications.
